Workshops

Music Workshops for Kids seamlessly merge art education and attentive listening practice with modern music technologies, aiming to develop a holistic understanding of sound. They are focused on fostering auditory sensitivity, creativity, and ecological awareness through a unique creative experience—from natural inspiration to electronic transformation. Participants start with experiments using interactive sound tools (such as Playtronica and Makey Makey), which allow them to create music via gesture and everyday objects. The program includes the crucial stage of mindful listening in natural outdoor spaces, followed by practical training in recording nature sounds using dedicated recorders. The collected audio materials are then processed in music software, where children learn to filter and combine them into individual, ambient soundscapes. The workshops conclude with a performative exercise that merges movement and sound, symbolically integrating human expression, nature, and technology.

Experimental Music & Modular Synthesis Workshop (Adults) This workshop focuses on the in-depth exploration of experimental music and the practical application of modular synthesizers as a primary tool for sonic experimentation. Participants will learn about the modular system as an open architecture composed of independent modules (oscillators, filters, generators), mastering how to patch them into unique configurations to build their own virtual instruments. The program promotes a process of deep exploration and discovery of new timbral possibilities, demonstrating methods for generating complex, evolving sound textures and polyrhythms that move beyond traditional compositional structures. The training develops both technical and creative skills, treating sound as a sculptural medium, and embracing controlled improvisation and chance operations as the main drivers of innovative artistic expression.

Modular Synthesis Online Workshop. This series of online workshops provides a comprehensive introduction to modular synthesizers and the world of experimental sound synthesis. The program is delivered through five one-hour online sessions that integrate essential theory with intensive practical application. Work is conducted using the free, virtual environment VCV Rack, allowing participants to gain full experience of the modular workflow without the need for physical hardware. The curriculum covers topics ranging from the operational principles of basic modules and patching techniques to advanced methods for creating complex textures. Sessions are conducted with an individual approach; dedicated Q&A sessions are scheduled each time, offering the opportunity to discuss personal projects and technical concerns, with the overall goal of mastering the language of modular synthesis and utilizing controlled improvisation as the primary tool for creative expression.
